Wait it’s Monday again already? Hoping you all had a great Easter/Passover weekend. My mom is in town from Miami and is making sure my kids are eating their weight in candy. I, on the other hand, am trying to keep my chocolate intake to a minimum so I can still fit in to a dress for Derby.
Today’s number is kind of a mix of a regular old outfit post and a Kentucky Derby style post. There’s no hat but this Shoshanna Sheath is beyond perfect for the track. But since I didn’t have a hat to pair with this pretty, I kept it off the series. No worries, I’ll have a couple Derby posts coming your way this afternoon.
The great thing about a solid, detailed dress like this is that it’s simple enough to wear to a ton of events. Switching out jewelry and shoes make it really versatile to wear all summer. The color will even transition well to fall so you won’t have to bury it in the back of your closet come September. I have a similar green Shoshanna dress that I’ve worn (and lent to tons of friends) a million times.
