Getting dressed is still a total crap shoot for me. ‘Will it or won’t it fit’ is the question every time I approach my closet so last night before heading out to dinner for my Dad’s birthday (more on that in a sec), I wasn’t sure what I’d end up wearing. I did know that I wanted to incorporate this Joie top that I scored at Nordstrom Rack yesterday (Needless to say, I was pretty pumped to find the rack full of goodies yesterday and was proud of myself for showing some restraint and only picking up this top).
But in the end, I was mostly just happy that I got these jeans on.
The good thing is that I can always count on accessories/shoes fitting and the bright, happy mint bag fits all my random crap while still making it look like I’ve got my act together. I may not be able to incorporate heels into my daily routine just yet but I’ve been wearing these Sole Society heels for every outing that doesn’t require carrying a car seat around (totally copied Beth after seeing them on her).
As for dinner, we went to Eiderdown and it was DELICIOUS. It was my second time there but everyone I went with was trying it for the first time. We ordered about as much as you could and everything was better than the last. If you go – you must try the Duck Fat Popcorn. It was insanely good.
