Okay not going to act like I didn’t totally drop the ball yesterday and miss this link up, because I did. I forgot to grab my computer charger before heading to Miami so once my computer died, I was s**t out of luck. It was one of those “Gah Danielle, why are you so stooopid” (name the movie) moments where I just had to do the {palm to forehead} motion and move on. So yeah, yesterday was the Bloggers Who Budget Work Wear for Less link up so that’s what you’re getting now. Mostly I just think you should go check out all the other gals looks because they are all muy bueno.
In the interest of honesty, these pants do not fit like this anymore – I’m in full belly band mode now – but thankfully I can still pull this off with an untucked tee or blouse. These J.Crew Ryder pants are great because they have a little stretch in them so I’ve been able to stay in them longer than a lot of my other work pants. I originally bought them in this green color and know that once I’m back to a regular body again that I’ll be snagging them in navy. I like that they are polished and slim but don’t give off the leggings look that some slim pants can have. They are great for business meetings at work but I’ve been known to kick off the heels, pair them with sneakers and a tee and wear them for running around. I feel like I would wear them to brunch if I ever went to brunch (#dreams #goals). Even better, they are on BIG TIME sale right now – like $30 big time sale.
Alright… I’ve got to get back to the grind now. Being away from work for even a couple days gets me totally out of whack schedule-wise but I’ll be back later with this week’s Bachelor recap.
J.Crew Ryder Pant (marked down + an extra 50% off now) | Leith White T-shirt (from Nordstrom; this one is sold out but I love their t-shirts. Really soft but can stand a few washes which is key!) | Theory Black Blazer (so so old) | Madewell Mira Heels (I have these in the green now too – they’re on sale – and really want the blue too)
p.s. – I feel like I never talk about lipstick but this one is Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in Bordeaux. I am obsessed. It has such good coverage, goes on really smooth and the best part, it’s under $5.
