So it’s been a couple weeks since my last mom-inspire post and I missed them. Before I get into today’s, I’m in need of some more stylish momma’s and I know you’ve got one. So next time you’re at home (or just call your mom – you know she’d love it), find a pic, snap a picture of it and send it my way (danielle@louwhatwear.com). I’ll be just as excited to receive it as your mom will be that you shared it. Promise.

Today’s mom, Jeanne Ruger, comes from one of my college best buds, Jodie Rueger Johnson. If this picture doesn’t make you nostalgic for summer, I don’t know what will. Also, not sure what the story with the shark is but I do know that Jeanne has a serious set of stems in those jean shorts. When you’ve got a teeny, tiny waist and long legs, you need to be wearing shorts at every opportunity possible.

I know we’re in the depths of winter but this makes me ready for long summer days. If you’re heading out for Spring Break in a few weeks (or just planning a fun, vacation), take note: a classic pair of shorts and a simple white tee will never do you wrong.
