There’s a trend out there (*cough * style blogs * cough *) to start talking about fall style as soon as the firework smoke dissipates on the Fourth of July. As much as I love fall, I’m in no rush to start thinking about boots and sweaters. Instead I’m planting myself firmly in the proverbial sand and sticking with all things summer as long as possible.
Since I know a lot of people are packing up for their big summer vacations, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite pieces – easy essentials that will keep packing to a minimum but still have you looking chic and more importantly, staying cool. Even if you’re not hitting the road or jetting off to the beach, all of these are just as perfect for a day spent poolside that transitions to an evening dinner under the stars with friends.
