Well hey there! Did you guys have a great holiday?! How great was that long weekend? I am back at the, admittedly very slow, office today but it was nice to escape the email grind for a few days.

I’ve been busy building lego sets, breaking up nonstop fights between D3 and Reese and attempting to lay on my couch as often as possible. We FINALLY started The Man in the High Castle last night after getting the kids to bed ridiculously early. Seriously, it was a post-Christmas miracle. If you all haven’t watched The Man in the High Castle, I can’t recommend it enough. The second season just started so you can binge watch both seasons back-to-back. I wrote a little review on it here but it’s about what the world would be like if we lost World War II. The whole idea of it is scary but the show is super suspenseful – kind of like a History Channel documentary meets Homeland.

Now I’m gearing up for New Year’s Eve and debating which dress to wear for the festivities. Either going to go with this number from last week or today’s lace dress. I wore this dress to our work Christmas party and it was perfect. So so comfortable, fits really well and has pockets. I clearly need a spray tan if I’m going to rock it this weekend though. Winter paleness is hitting me hard right now.
