Even though I’m still coming to terms with the fact that the holidays are upon us, I’m attempting to embrace the addition of the Christmas radio station to my presets and the presence of holiday decorations in every store. I’ve also made sure to reserve a spot for one of my new favorite traditions (it’s only been a year but now that I’m signed up for year two, it’s officially a tradition) – making my own wreath with the gals of the Green House Studio. It’s no secret around here that I have a major girl crush on every thing that Jaclyn Journey and Whitney Neal put together but their holiday workshops really take the cake. They round up everything you need (and much more) to make your own special wreath. All kinds of greenery and berries, ribbons and other fun stuff to get crafty. I held on to last year’s creation far longer than I should have but I loved seeing it when I got home every day.
It’s a lot of fun to go with family or friends (last year I did both – my pal Caitlin and my mother-in-law both came) and see what they come up with. Jaclyn – who is insanely talented with all things floral – is there for moral and professional support and Whitney will snap a fab pic of your handiwork when you’re done. Plus there’s wine, hot chocolate and a solid array of snacks.
Here’s all the details and the link to save your spot. I’m signed up for Sunday if you want to join me and Caitlin again this year!
