Lately D3 has been getting into super heroes and I guess seeing all those capes rubbed off on me. I’d never hopped onto the cape trend before but after seeing this one while doing some online holiday shopping (one for you, one for me). I decided to give it a go. What pushed me over the edge was a combo of a great coupon code and the realization that this would be a great transitional piece to wear while dealing with this growing bump.
It’s super versatile and I love that I can throw it over my uniform of leggings and a long tee to instantly make them work appropriate. Well, that and heels. Heels definitely help.
And hey, it may be 10 degrees outside but at least it’s Friday. This weekend, I’m hosting a baby shower for one of my closest college pals and I’m pretty excited to have the gang back together. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything turns out – I’ve got all the big stuff covered but I can’t help but leave somethings to the last minute. If there was a party throwing super hero (or is there… Martha Stewart?), I would be sending up the signal to him or her right now. Maybe I’ll try and see if this cape can help…
