Anyone else still recovering from St. Patrick’s Day festivities or just me? I don’t normally post on the weekends, so you may have missed this birthday post with a bunch of random fun facts… like that I used to play the xylophone.
So in keeping with the Louisville content that you all seem to be loving, I’m coming in hot today with a first look at the Dress & Dwell Pop-Up shop that’s opening tomorrow over on Grinstead Drive (2509 Grinstead Drive to be exact). In full disclosure, Dress & Dwell is a client over at Lemonade but I have not been paid to share this on the blog. If you’ve followed for a while, you know it has been one of my favorite local shops for years and I’m pretty sure you all are going to be excited about their new Louisville location.
The Pop-Up opens tomorrow, March 20th, and runs at least through Derby. It’s right at the intersection of Grinstead and Lexington Rd. near Le Moo, Pure Barre Cherokee Park and Fante’s Coffee Shop. As you can see in the pics, there is a ton of inventory so don’t be worried about slim pickings. They’ll have lots of Derby dresses and head pieces by Headcandi but there are also casual spring basics, shoes, jewelry and entertaining pieces.
There is so much good stuff in there now including lots of new Likely dresses which are perfect for Derby. Plus Lili Lierch earrings, tons of Kendra Scott and Bourbon & Boweties. If you swing in and let them know you saw it on Lou What Wear, you can get 20% off one full-price item. Just show them this post to redeem!
The Pop-Up is open Monday – Friday from 11 am to 6 pm, Saturdays from 11 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 12 to 5 pm. Plus this Saturday, March 24th they are having a Pop-Up Party featuring champagne all day plus free popsicles from Steel City Pops for the first 75 shoppers from 12 to 2pm.
